Hipcooks East classes are held at a sleek & beautiful kitchen at the lovely Brewery Artist's Lofts near downtown LA. Minutes from the 5, 10 & 101 freeways, there is plenty of safe & secure parking just opposite the unit. This is in a courtyard of a Very Safe complex, so you should be absolutely comfortable parking & walking to and from your car to Hipcooks.

The following will get you to Ave 21 & Main Street. Then follow the direx below to get to my unit.
From the 5 South: You’re in luck! Take the Main Street exit, go straight at the stop at the end of the ramp – that is Ave 21 & Main!
From the 5 North: Take Main Street exit, right off ramp, right on Main, left on Ave 21 just after the underpass.
From Santa Monica & the 10 Freeway: Take the 10 to the 5N (it is a left exit PAST downtown. Do not let it occur to you to get on the 110, stay on the 10!), follow direx above from the 5N.
From the 101 South Freeway: Exit Mission (after you pass downtown -do not let it occur to you to exit the 110, stay on the 101!), Left of ramp on Mission, Left on Daly (just after the 5 underpass, look for the Chevron station on the corner – Daly is only marked on the left!), Left on Main, Left on Ave 21.
From the 110 from Pasadena: merge on the 5S and follow direx above.
From Downtown, Echo Park, Silverlake, Hollywood, etc: Take Sunset, it turns into Chavez. Left on Alameda,right on Alpine, left on North Main St. Pass San Antonio Winery, up and over RR tracks, stoplight, Right on Ave 21.
Once are on Ave 21, you'll go through one large set of gates. Go through another set of gates - the entrance to the Brewery. (You'll see large Brewery smokestack a sign that says LA Art core.) Make your first possible right down a little alleyway. Follow that until it ends (you’d crash into a building if you continued.) Straight ahead of you, you'll see a unit with a large white awning. I am the unit just to the right. Number E21. Turn right at my studio down the alleyway infront of it.
PARKING:
Pass Hipcooks, so that the door of the studio is on your left. There is a huge parking lot just down to your right. Park. Walk 20 steps to Hipcooks. DO NOT PARK INFRONT OF ANYONE'S STUDIO! They get mad. Really. Any of the plenty public parking spaces (ones that are not in front of any studio) are fine.
People often ask me for a physical address to plug into mapquest or yahoomaps. please don't! the physical address is different from the street address. Also, the web route-planners suggest nonsensical ways to get here. But, If mapquest you must, (even it is just to look at a map, I understand that need), then plug in: Main Street & Moulton Ave, 90031. The physical address here is 642 Moulton Ave, Unit E21, 90031
If the gates at Ave 21 are closed: Proceed one block on Main Street (towards downtown and away from the freeways) to Moulton Ave. Once you are on Moulton, make your second possible left. There will be a brick building with a sign that says The Brewery.) Continue to the stop sign, turn right. Pass the parking lot on your left and a set of mailboxes on your right. Keep going. Hipcooks will be on your right (unit E21).
